Introduction

When a user’s profile is created, actions with regard to Guardian Events must be applied.  ‘Acknowledge’ can be given to any user with any Scope and Grant.

This article discusses the additional functions available to users given the ability to ‘Acknowledge’ events.

Override Fatigue Risk

Overriding Fatigue Risk allows a user to reduce the risk based on their assessment of the risk.  This may be due to having spoken to the driver, or accepting that the driver may soon be completing their shift and are being coached home.

To override Fatigue Risk, users can expand the tile or click on the “+ more” at the bottom of the tile.

When all vehicle Fatigue Risk is visible, the user can ‘grab’ the vehicle they wish to override the Fatigue Risk on and move it to the desired risk level (Critical to Elevated, Elevated to Normal etc).

When the vehicle has been allocated to the correct risk level, the user will be asked to provide a reason for the change.

Acknowledge Events

Users with this permission can also Acknowledge events that have yet to be Classified by the Guardian Centre.  This allows the user to review the event and remove the ‘pending’ status from the event.  The event will still be sub-classified by the Guardian Centre.

Acknowledging an event will remove the ‘Pending event’ alert from the Fatigue Risk dashboard.

Vehicle Timeline Record

A record of the Fatigue risk change will be recorded in the Vehicle Timeline

Update image of timeline when this is working.

A record of the Acknowledgement will be recorded in the Vehicle Timeline.  The confirmation will also be visible in the Event view.
